Show mwmjviuu rmvs i . . By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Lark Reynolds was taken to the care center in Panguitch by ambulance on Sunday. His sons, Cliff Reynolds came from Payson and Nick Reynolds from Panguitch. His wife, Bea, has been staying at the home of a daughter, Susan Reynolds, to be near him. The Reynoldses have son, Nick and daughters Elaine Shakespear and Susan Reynolds living in Panguitch and some loving, caring grandchildren who spend time with Lark. Fourteen girls from the Cannonville LDS Ward Young Womens organization and ten from the Young Men's group, went to St. George on Saturday for temple baptisms. They were accompanied by leaders and parents including Andrea McCormick, Ethel Rich, Anita Fletcher, Bishop Joey Comp, Joe Thompson, Mark and Loni Nelson and John and Ramona Morreale. Some of the adults attended a temple session during dur-ing the baptisms. We are very proud of our young people and are grateful to their leaders for their devotion to their callings. Attending Cannonville LDS Ward on Sunday were Ted and Cheryl Lyon from Provo, who have been camping on their property near Canaan Peak with their daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Willis Knapp and children. Also visiting were Doug and Sharon Folland and their six children from the Salt Lake City area. David Mathews and son, Michael of St. George, spent several days with parents Don and Louise Mangum and helped his dad and brothers, John and Ben, haul winter wood. Robert Fletcher came from his home in Gilbert, Ariz., and spent Sunday with his parents Alma and Anita Fletcher. Joe Mathews visited his parents par-ents John and Charlotte Mathews and went hunting. Joe and Rae Hughes went to Panguitch to a heart clinic and Joe got a good report from the doctor. Visiting Arma Stock have been her daughter and son-in-fow, Nora and Jim Wagner of Knoxville, Tenn., and David Burr of Ogden. Ethel Rich and daughter Holly Baugh took son Rusty Rich to St. George to the dentist on Wednesday. Lucy Tomey of Gilbert, Ariz., who has been visiting Mike and Katheryn Riffel, will be going home next week. Her daughter Becky Reber and granddaughter Justine Elkins of Mesa, Ariz., will come and take her back home. Mike Riffel is sort of like the birds ... when fall comes, he goes south noy for the winter but for an extended tour and visit with family members and friends. He visits his brother Robert in Alabama; then to i North Carolina to visit daughter and son-in-law Katheryn Rick Wells and family; then to Indiana for the fall foliage festival; festi-val; then on to his home in Martinsville to see family and friends there and to bring his mother Gladys Phelps back with him for a visit. Called Dorothy Leavitt to get the latest on her husband Howard's health problem. She said his surgery is scheduled for Tues. Oct. 9 in St. George. He has an aneurysm. We hope all will go well for him. |
