Bea's granddaughter came fromCedar City on Wednesday and took Bea back with her for a visit with her son Wayne of MacCall, Ida., who works for the Forest Service and was attending meetings there. He does a lot of traveling in his work, but Cannonville is too small and insignificant to be included on his schedule. They all went on a camping trip this week. Gerald and Dawn Stock went to Cedar City to see the eye specialist spe-cialist who did the surgery on Gerald's eye where a checkup proved everything fine. Dawn went to Escalante to visit her brother Dell Roy Davis and his wife Jeanie on Saturday. Rita and EC Hammer went to Aztec N.M., for the graduation of their granddaughter Tatiana. daughter of Grant and Vickie Hammer. They also enjoyed visiting friends in Aztec, Rita's sister Catherine Nygaard and niece Lindsay Smith in Albuquerque, N.M. Rita said driving 10 hours a day is just too long and hard for old folks like them. Arjean Twitchell went to St George Wednesday to spend lli night with her daughter Cherlynn. Gloria Clark went to Salt Lake City with her daughter and son-in-law Deene and Ron Baugh and spent two weeks visiting vis-iting her two sisters, Darlene Williams and Dawna Butterfield and brother LeGrande Johnson, sisters-in-law Connie Johnson and Betty Johnson and other family members. One little grandson said to her, "Grandma Crak it's been so long since I saw you, I thought you had gone to heaven!" Gloria went to St. George for a medical appointment., appoint-ment., Klancy Ott is attending Post training in Salt Lake City. His wife Tammi is going to summer school in Cedar City to continue her education. They will come home on weekends for the seven weeks of school and training. Melanie Clark went to Kingston on Wednesday to take care of her grandsons Quade and Stanton Gleave while their parents par-ents were in Salt Lake City. Four of our fine young people were among the LDS Seminary graduates at the exercises held in Escalante Sunday evening: Raphael Morreale, Jacob Moss, Gina Nelson, and Rosa Lee Thompson who spoke at the program. Cannonville has seven among the recent graduates of Bryce Valley High School, Amanda Gary, Marty McCormick, Raphaael Morreale, Jacob Moss, Gina Nelson, David Mathews and Valedictorian Rosa Lee Thompson. We are very proud of them all. |
