Syrett 679-8687, vickidiane36hotmail.com Franz and Margaret Shakespear enjoyed a short visit from Margaret's' nieces,' Marjorie Coltrin of Mesa, Ariz., and Rachelle Brown and her husband, Gerald, of Show Low, Ariz. Margaret also reports that she loved her chocolate birthday cake that was given to her by a friend, especially the middle part. Carl and Mary-Miller Boyd spent two weeks in Kentucky 'visiting with their children. Their daughter, Emily Boyd of Melbourne, Australia was in Lexington, Ky., on business and it was a good opportunity for the Boyds to see her as well. Their daughter Kathryn Carter and son, John Cheshire and Carl and Mary-Miller took in the graduation gradua-tion from kindergarten of Carl Thomas Boyd and Madeline Cheshire. It was a pleasant experience for all to have time to visit with each other and enjoy the children. The Boyds then hurried home to get ready for a visit from Carl's brother Jim and his wife Jessie Boyd of Mt. Sterling, Ky. Mary-Miller and Jessie were planning to attend the "Quilt Walk" in Panguitch and then everyone planned on going sightseeing together. Colleen Campbell is still in the hospital in Panguitch and not feeling very well. We wish her a speedy recovery and hope she is soon home and feeling a lot better. bet-ter. She has been so sick for a long time and now hopefully is on the road to being well again. Helma Haas and LaMar and Cheri Feltner traveled to Ogden for grandson Steven Feltner's, high school graduation. He graduated with high honors and was a Sterling Scholar. He also received a four-year scholarship to Dixie State College. I remember Steven and his love of coin collecting when he was in the 4th grade and what a very nice person he was and is. Good luck Steven with your future. Also attending the ceremonies were Elaine Haas, Tropic; Lynn and Tami Scott, Rexburg, Ida.; Todd and Jennifer Feltner, Jarrett and Tanya Taylor, all Washington; Tari Cottam, Cedar City; Scott and Beth Chynoweth, Lehi. Grandparents Grandpar-ents Connie and Bob Ozinga from Centerville, Md., were also there for the celebration. They are the parents of Kris Feltner. Preparing for a wedding can be very stressful, especially when you have to make dresses, get ready to travel to a different state, make sure all the details are in place and ready to go. Bill and Laurie Eddy and Moyle and Tracy Johnson are feeling that stress right now as they get ready for the weddings of their children, Chalyce and Austin Owens of Panguitch, and Brandon and Ruby Sather of North Dakota, in June. The Johnsons will be traveling to North Dakota and Laurie is busy making bridesmaid dresses and both mothers are fully occupied with the plans. Congratulations and good luck to all involved. |
