Show Kodachrome State Park To Be Featured On KUED, Channel 7 A scenic tour of Kodachrome Basin State Park, and avalanche safety, will be featured on the Nov. 8 edition of "Utah Wild." A half-hour television program, pro-gram, "Utah Wild" is being broadcast broad-cast each Saturday in November, at 7:30 a.m., on KUED Channel 7. The weekly broadcasts include favorite fa-vorite features from the first season of "Utah Wild," as well as Utah's latest wildlife-related news. A joint venture between KUED and the Division of Wildlife Resources, Re-sources, "Utah Wild" is produced, written and videotaped by Division videographer Mike Radice, and co-hosted co-hosted by Division employees ' Steve Phillips and Linda Stoinski. "On our second , weekly program pro-gram we'll review the splendor of Kodachrome Basin State Park southeast of Cannonville," Radice said. "This park looks great year round but perhaps winter is the most interesting time to visit because be-cause of the temperature changes and the different colors the sunrises and sunsets offer. "Kodachrome Basin is a great place to take photographs and is worth the effort to visit," Radice said. Viewers also will be taught avalanche safety while in the back-country. back-country. "Even though there isn't much snow in the highcountry yet, it's coming, and to get ready we thought we would review a previous previ-ous feature on avalanche safety," Radice said. In the show's Photo Tips segment, seg-ment, a review of light meters and how to take great wildlife photographs photo-graphs in the snow will be featured. Utah's latest wildlife-related news also will be included in the Nov. 8 show. |
