Show SUU Releases Dean's List CEDAR CITY - Students from 14 States and three foreign countries coun-tries are included on the just-released just-released dean's list for the spring semester at Southern Utah University. Univer-sity. A total of 592 students are listed for the semester. Typically about 10 percent of the student body qualifies. To be included, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.60 for the term and complete com-plete at least 15 semester hours of academic work for which a letter grade is awarded. "A grade point average of 3.60 is roughly equivalent to an 'A-minus' 'A-minus' letter grade average, " Sterling Ster-ling r. Church, SUU vice president for student services, said. "It takes a commitment to educational excellence excel-lence and plenty of hard work to earn this recognition. Those who earn mention on the dean's list have made a significant achievement." Students from Garfield County included on the dean's list are: Travis Christy, LeeAnn Moser, Eric Sawyer and Wendy Woolsey of Panguitch and Tyson Brinkerhoff and Paul Shakespear of Tropic. |
