Show aim ammms I I l I ll. Ill I II II Necia Bolander Roe Necia Bolander Roe, 49, of Papillion, Neb., returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 1,1999. Her family was at her side at the end of her courageous struggle strug-gle with cancer. She was our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, daugh-ter, sister, and friend. She was born to William C. and Dorothy Bolander, June 8, 1950 in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Granite High School in 1968, continuing on to Brigham Young University, where she met her future husband, Russell Roe. They married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Sept. 5, 1969. She received three Associate Degrees before earning her Bachelors degree in Business Management while employed as a legal secretary paralegal para-legal at the law offices of Ronald J. Palagi. She was a valiant member of the LDS Church. Her proudest accomplishment was her family, consisting of her husband and six children. She is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years; children: Angela (Jason) Randall of Gilbert, Ariz.; Ron (Lynda) Roe of Salt Lake City; Christine, Melanie, Jennifer and Stephanie Roe, all of Papillion, Neb.; grandchildren: Kassandra, Garrett and Dylan Randall of Gilbert, Gil-bert, Ariz.; parents of Salt Lake City; father and mother-in-law, Earl - . .. , Necia Roe and Evalyn Roe of Panguitch; brothers and sisters, Bruce of Irvine, Calif., Bryan of Murray, Ed of Tay-lorsville, Tay-lorsville, Ruby Rimington of Tooele, and Alene Peterson of Aurora, Colo. Funeral services were held in the Papillion LDS Ward Chapel on Saturday, July 3, 1999. Additional funeral services will also be held on Thursday, July 8, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch LDS Stake Center, 550 South 100 West, Panguitch. Friends may call at the Stake Center Cen-ter Thursday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery. Funeral directors: Neal S. Wanless Alvey ESCALANTE - Wanless Alvey, 95, of Escalante, our beloved be-loved father, grandfather, greatgrandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, died July 1, 1999 at the home of his daughter, daugh-ter, Donnette, in St. George. He was born Dec. 18, 1903 in Escalante Esca-lante to Thomas Henry and Marcia Ann Liston Alvey. He married Dena Roundy on . July 23, 1925 in Junction. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She preceded pre-ceded him in death on May 2, 1985. He owned and operated Alvey's Motel and Restaurant in Escalante for many years. He also had a service serv-ice station, a sawmill and was involved in-volved in construction. He loved his family and the outdoors. out-doors. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed taking his family and grandchildren camping. He is survived by daughters: Clorene Vidrine of Escalante and Donnette (Dick) Lee of St. George; nine grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Emma Bay-log Bay-log and Mary Swain of Payson. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughters: Betty, Joy, and Marcia Roslie; brothers: Elmer, Forest, Phil, Thomas Gordon and Garland Alvey. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 5, in the Escalante 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Dal Liston officiating. ' f'f i ; Wanless Alvey The invocation was offered by Lane Foote, a brother-in-law. Areola Ar-eola Gates and Susan Wilson played an organpiano duet, "You'll Never Walk Alone." A tribute was given by Marion Foote, a sister-in-law and Martin Vidrine was a speaker. Patsy Cottam, a cousin, sang "How Great Thou Art," and tributes were given by Laurie Driggers, a granddaughter and Greg Vidrine, a grandson. Remarks were made by Bishop Dal Liston and the grandchildren grand-children sang "Love One Another." The benediction was offered by Jenifer Hadley. Pallbearers were Martin Vidrine, Greg Vidrine, Dick Lee, Brett Ernett, Jeff Ence, Murrin Wulfen-stein, Wulfen-stein, Bill Vidrine, and Jerry Muse. Honorary pallbearers were Lane Foote, Dewey Miller, Othello Barney, Tyson Vidrine, Andrew Vidrine, Nathan Vidrine, Trevor Bowler, Bradley Boyce, Trent Boyce, Dallas Driggers, Nathan Hadley, Jacob Vidrine, Joshua Vidrine, Chase Ence, Justin Wulfenstein, Weston Wulfenstein, Colby Wulfenstein, and Jacob Emett. Burial was in the Escalante Cemetery. The dedication of the grave was offered by Wallace Lee. Compassionate services were rendered by the Escalante 2nd Ward Relief Society sisters.
