Show Green Thumb Workshops Set For Boulder, Escalante With spring planting ahead, tips for successful gardening and how-to do-it-right advice for pruning trees along with other valuable green-thumb information will be offered at workshops set for Escalante and Boulder in the upcoming week. The no-charge workshops will be presented on Thursday morning Mar. 27 by Utah State University County Extension Agent Jack Sopcr at the Boulder Town Hall at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. at the Escalante Senior Citizen Center. Along with instructions on pruning fruit trees, other topics to be covered will include pest control and soil fertility. Sopcr may be reached at the County Extension Office at the Garfield County Courthouse in Panguitch for additional information. informa-tion.
