Show Pannoltdi Elavil By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 The past weeks storms have brightened the lawns around town and folks are removing many of the old cottonwood and other dying trees. Many of the ancient lilac bushes are being cut down. They blossom seldom and serve to catch a lot of blowing trash. R and R Welding, at the north entrance to town, have leveled the old Henry Hughs house next to their business and cleaned up the lot. It looks so good. Congratulations Congratula-tions Burtons. We need more old buildings, fences and unsightly messes cleaned up throughout town. Now if we could find a deep hole to dump the old cars and obsolete obso-lete machinery in, and cover them up it would look better and maybe in 200 years archeologists could dig them up and try to guess what we used them for. The high school shop classes have built several cabins at the Sportsmans Paradise Campground north of town, and are now installing install-ing the bleachers in the new ele mentary school gym. The kids have really enjoyed having the gym to play in at recess time this past school year, while the weather has been bad. .
