Show I:nri:vi!b II:v;j By Wynona Henderson Recent visitors at Jeff and Kim Johnsons were Dave and Tom Ballett from Salt Lake City and California. On Aug. 13, Clayton and Heather Johnson became the parents par-ents of a beautiful baby boy named Tell. Proud grandparents are Jeff and Kim Johnson and great-grandparents are Iris Bushnell, Bush-nell, Carolyn Johnson, Spanish Fork and great great-grandparents are Clem and Clara Johnson of Provo. Iris Bushnell also became a great-grandmother to Tawn and Cami Mangum's new little baby boy born Aug. 6, named McCray. Shawn and Lisa Chynoweth are proud parents of a darling little lit-tle girl named Samantha Ann. Ralph and Lou Chynoweth are the proud grandparents. Lee Wyatt of Buckville, Tex. is also 'a grandparent grand-parent to Samantha. Henrieville LDS Ward was well represented at the St. George Temple on Saturday, Aug. 29 for ' the State LDS Temple Day. Frankie and Gayle Moore's son Ryan was baptized Aug. 22. Calvin and Dian Ferrin, Farming-ton, Farming-ton, were here for the special occasion. oc-casion. Also baptized was Mike . Barker, son of Mike and Karen Barker. Congratulations boys! Those celebrating birthdays ' this week were: Kenny Goulding on the 31st; Linda Patterson on ' the 1st; Stacy Chynoweth on the ; 2nd; Karin Barker on the 4th and ; Andy Martensen on the 5th. . Happy birthday to all of you! The LDS young women pre- , sented a very special program in Sacrament meeting. Talks were given by Dixie and Beverly Thompson, Esther Johnson and Sandy and Collette Mathews. Special musical numbers were given by Heidi Thompson and Annie Barnett. Krista Piatt also spoke. Visitors at Daryl Shumways were friends he met while serving an LDS mission 43 years ago in Florida: Elizabeth Jones and Marby Thrower. Taryn Piatt is now at Dixie College. She was immediately called as pianist. Taryn and Krista won 2nd place in the age group in music at the County Fair at the Farm Bureau talent find. Anthony Rose took 3rd in his age group. Kenyon Piatt is engaged to Emily Wilson. Lori Piatt's brother James Dodd came and spoke to young men and young women of Can-nonville Can-nonville and Henrieville on different dif-ferent dances. The Piatt family reunion was held in Canyon Park in Cedar City with a good number in attendance. atten-dance. Visitors at Ernie and Wynona Hendersons recently were Ernie and Zoe Maes, Santa Clara, and Ernie's sister Teela and husband Ernie, of Albuquerque, N.M. It was a fun evening with three Ernies there. Ricky and LeAnn Maes also paid a visit with their two children. Dorsie Huffaker has returned to Littleton, Colo, after a few weeks visiting with Ernie and Wynona Henderson. While here, she got word from son Jake, who is serving in the army in Monterey, Mon-terey, Calif, that he had a collapsed col-lapsed lung and spent several days in the hospital there. Ken and JoAnne Goulding were in Salt Lake City for doctor appointments and to visit some of. their children in Provo. Doyle Nielson returned from the LDS Hospital where he had bypass surgery. He did very well and only had to spend four days in the hospital. Kathryn said that the hard part is keeping him down! |
