Show By May Sawyer 735-4207 Visiting Calvin and Ruth Wilson were Mr. arid Mrs. Ralph Marchant of Salt Lake City. Clifton Rives of Henderson, Nev. was here for the weekend. Visiting LaMar and Dorothy Barney were Kenneth and Elaine Barney and children. We're happy Dorothy is back home after a quick trip to the hospital in Salt Lake City. Grandson Steven Barney was baptized here in Hatch by his father, Kenneth Barney, so that Grandpa and Grandma Barney could attend. Other visitors at the LaMar Barney's home were Bill and Janell Duckett of Page, Ariz.; Louis and Sue Barney and baby daughter Kennady Sue of Cedar City and Floyd and Mary Barney of Kanab. Tracy Matheson of St. George visited May Sawyer on Saturday and both went to Antimony on that afternoon. May received word of a new great-grandson, Haden Don Roberts, born Saturday, Feb. 10 to David and Stephanie Roberts of Tropic. He has a proud brother, Colton, at home. Grandparents are Steve and Kathy Goulding of Henrieville and Ken and Valeene Roberts of Antimony. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ken Goulding of Henrieville, Garth Roberts of Antimony and Great Grandma Alice Ott of Panguitch. Darol and Beth Allred went to Cedar City one day last week. Ileta Dix of Panguitch visited the Kelley Dix family and the Darol Allreds. Kelley Dix, Lynn Lamb, Carl Lamb and David Lamb went to San Francisco, Calif, to attend funeral services for Lynn's aunt. Merlin and Jean Bamhurst of Kanab were in town. Garth Heap visited Kenny and Joanne Goulding of Henrieville on Sunday. Layton and Florene Barney went to Provo last week for Layton's doctor's appointment. The Hatch Camp of the Daughter of the Utah Pioneers held their monthly meeting at the home of Vonee Roundy. Ardis Evan presented a lesson on "The Women of Utah in 1896." Six daughters were in attendance and a turkey dinner was served by hostess, Vonee Roundy. Rick and Sharon Sawyer and children went to Las Vegas for an eye appointment for Trisha Sawyer. They returned to St. George on Saturday evening and spent that evening and most of Sunday visiting with the Nile Sawyers. The Panguitch LDS Seminary students presented the program for Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Jade Walter was advanced to a Webelos Scout at the Cub Scout Pack meeting on Feb. 5. Hatch will be holding it's Scout Recognition Banquet on Feb. 27. There will be a ward dinner followed by a program. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come. |
