PUBLIC NOTICE Bureau of Land Management Notice of Availability of Draft Administrative Determinations of Claimed Rights-of-Way. Notice is hereby given that the Bureau of Land Management has prepared its Draft Administrative Determinations for four claimed rights-of-way in Garfield county, Utah and one claimed right-of-way in Kane County, Utah. The Secretary Secre-tary of the Interior has requested the Utah Office of the Bureau of land Management to make recommendations recommenda-tions to the Secretary regarding the existence and scope of certain rights-of-way claimed by Kane, Garfield and San Juan Counties as public highways under the provisions provi-sions of Revised Statute (R.S.) 2477 (recodified as 43 U.S.C 706 (a), Pub. L. No. 94-579,90 Stat. 2744.2793(1976)). The identified federal action is pursuant to May 11, 1998 federal district court ruling which granted the United States' motion to stay the proceeding in Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance v. BLM et al., (Consolidated Case No.2:96-CV-836-S) in order to allow the Department De-partment of the Interior to make administrative determinations on the right-of-way claims at issue in the lawsuit. The Bureau of Land Management Manage-ment is making the Draft Determinations Determi-nations available to the parties to the suit and the public for review and comment for 30 days. The Bureau of Land Management will consider the information provided by the parties to the suit and the public in making its recommendations recommenda-tions to the Secretary.
