Currently well under construction construc-tion in Santa Clara is SBSU's eighth branch location. Another $200,000 investment went into remodeling at three other bank locations during 1996. As soon as construction is com-pleted in Santa Clara, the contractors con-tractors will start construction on Tropic's facility to be located on the southeast corner of Main (Highway 12) and 2nd North. In the meantime, mean-time, the bank will open a temporary tempor-ary facility to serve customers who are already beginning to open accounts with the institution. State Bank of Southern Utah is currently advertising locally for a branch manager and tellers in hopes of hiring area residents and will employ Tropic's Nellie Rae Me-cham Me-cham as its operations officer. Training of new personnel will begin approximately April 15 with opening of its temporary facility (See Bank Branch In Tropic On Page 2-A) SBSU Branch To Open In Tropic (From Front Page) expected in 60 days.
