Jeff Sudweeks and Cody Brinkerhoff were baptized into the LDS church February 28. The Relief Society held its , homemaking meeting Tuesday evening. The annual 17th of March dinner will be held on Tuesday, March 17 at the church at 7 p.m. The annual Boy Scout Banquet was held Wednesday evening. Ida Kennedy is enjoying a visit from her daughter. An exercise class will be held at the church every afternoon at 4 p.m. Anyone interested is invited to a tend. The Norman Littlefield's had son, Lanny, visit with them overnight. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Shakespear spent the weekend with Ora Brinkerhoff. Word has been received that Bill Stout has received a medical release from his mission and is with his grandmother in California. The son of Bishop and Mrs. William Pollock was named. Dane Colton Pollock in Sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Blake Allen and sons of Cedar City visited with Larvin Pollock. Margaret Mecham and Ella Adair attended a Garfield County Council on Aging meeting. The Rex Sandburgs were in Logan on business. Lowell Mecham, Carl Shakespear and Richard Crawford represented Garfield County teachers at a special school conference this past Week in Phoenix, Ariz. Ursell Ott and Wanda Shakespear are still hospital patients. Russell LeFevre and two sons have moved back to Tropic. Russell will operate the garage. Work is progressing on the LeFevre motel units. Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moore spent the weekend with the Matland Baughs. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Adair and son, Shane Adair, visited with the Arnold Adairs Saturday. ' - ' LuElla Mangum spent four days with the Paul Mangums. She was happy to see friends and relatives while there. She is enjoying her new home in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ott were in Cedar City Sunday for the naming of their new granddaughter daughter of Mr. and Mrs. True Ott. |
