Show Tropic News The Floyd Richardses enjoyed a visit from all of their children for a weekend, Nakolc Crofts, Thomas Richards and Greg Richards and their families. Cheryl Pollock and Ethel Rich were in Salt Lake City during the week for medical tests. Several Tropic residents attended funeral services in Frcdonia, Ariz., for C.A. Griffiths. The LaMar LeFevres spent Mother's Day with their children in Las Vegas. The Ira Littlcficlds have enjoyed a week-long visit with their daughter daugh-ter Linda Gates of California. Ronald Millctt and Ramona Millctt were in Tropic for the weekend. Ron was the featured speaker at the high school graduation gradua-tion exercises. Last week several of the students were featured on the T.V. program focusing on the Brycc Canyon area. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jollcy were in Las Vegas to attend a wedding reception. re-ception. Violet Littlefield was hostess to the Family Home Evening group. Dorma Barton spent the weekend in Tropic. She had attended the graduation exercises in Ticaboo, where grandson Alan Barton was a graduate, then to the one in Bryce Valley, where granddaughter Connie Barton was a class member. LuElla Mangum and Laura Cot-tarn Cot-tarn were overnight visitors at LaRcne Munson and the Paul Mangum homes. Mr. and Mrs. John Niemann Jr. were in Tropic Friday. The family of Louie Shakespear gathered at the Tropic Park Saturday afternoon for a picnic lunch, commemorating com-memorating her 80th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Adair, Brea, Calif., visited the Arnold Adairs and with Violet Litllcficld. The Duane Stewart family were at the Reginald Stewart home Friday Fri-day and attended the graduation exercises ex-ercises at the school. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Bybcc visited vis-ited with the Rex Sandburgs and with the Clive Bybees. Marilyn Olt and Jody Evans were guests at the Stan Ols. Louise Ott attended Avon meetings meet-ings in Cedar City were she received re-ceived the "Mrs. Alvey Award," was made a member of the Honor Society for 1988, and received a bracelet for the most sponsorships. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Ott attended graduation exercises in Cedar City for their grandson Jeremy Ott, son of Mr. and Mrs. True Ott. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pollock met their son and daughter-in-law the Gale Pollocks in Moab for a short visit. The second Joseph A. Ott family reunion will be held in the Tropic Park May 27. The family of the late McCunc Olt is in charge. The Waldo Littlefield family will meet May 29 in the Tropic Park for their reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hunt, Beaver, visited with Ora Brinkcrhoff Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Clarke were in Burlcy, Ida., the forepart of the week attending graduation exercises for granddaughter Kristcn Lamb. Rhclt and Ed Shakespear and Ar-von Ar-von Button and two daughters visited vis-ited with the E.R. Shakespcars. Brady Syrctt has received an LDS mission call to the South Korea Ti Jong mission. Robert Hurt has been a patient in the Garfield Memorial Hospital this week. Speakers in LDS sacrament meeting were Rick Crawford and Jerold Johnson. Connie Barton played an organ solo. Mr. and Mrs. Tice Palmer spent the weekend with the Bart Palmers. Memberships for Lynn Murri, Sandra Murri and Trochel Murri were received in the Tropic LDS Ward. Several of the adults attended the fireside in Hcnricville Sunday. Kathy Welob and Larry Welob are visiting wilh the Rex Sandburg family. LaRcne Muinson attended the LDS Seminary graduation exercises in Parowan Sunday lo see grandson Tyler Munson graduate. She visited with the Scolt Munsons while there. Bart Palmer was released as president of the Young Mens MIA with Lonny Pollock, first counselor; coun-selor; Franz Shakespear second counselor; and Fred Syrctt, secretary. secre-tary.
