Show tc": iiiiiOiiLL M1 By Ella Adair 679-8648 Rick Bybee spent a week in Salt Lake City serving on jury duty. Minnie Nielson spent four days in Heber City visiting nieces and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ott were in Salt Lake City and Provo this week for medical appointments. LaFaun Pollock visited daughter, daugh-ter, Marie Barnson in Delta, then went on to Provo for eye care. Rella Alvey, Janet Pollock and Florence Syrett spent an evening with the Stanley Otts and helped Louise celebrate her birthday. Margaret M. Mecham enjoyed a weekend visit from son, Bud Mecham from Heber City. Mary Etta Chynoweth and three cousins - Mary Don Cox, St. George; Mary Jean Jefferson and Rose Rohnquist, both of Salt Lake City, had a fun time visiting and reminiscing over old times together for three days at the Chynoweth home in Tropic. The three girls' mothers were sisters and they all went to school and lived in Tropic. Henry Jolley and a group of friends from Heber City spent the weekend visiting and camping in the Lower Wahweep country. They also visited with Earl Jolley. Gerry Moon took her father to Salt Lake City for medical care, then back to his home in St George. She claims she has kept the "road hot" to Salt Lake City this past month. Bob R. Sudweeks visited his girlfriend in Ephraim. John and Lorie Ahlstrom, Dixie Shakespear, Rachael Jolley and Doug and Vickie Ahlstrom attended atten-ded the funeral for Angeline Ahlstrom Ahls-trom in Hyde Park. Mr. and Mrs. Dalen Baugh, Kelly and Birch Moore, and Justin Baugh were visitors at the Matland Baugh home. Mr. and Mrs. Tice Palmer visited vis-ited the Bart Palmers for a few days. LaRene Munson went to Panguitch Pan-guitch for the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. David Munson, son of the Mark Munsons. Mark came home from his job in Costa Rica for the event. Larry Adair visited his mother, Ella Adair for her birthday. Ella was hostess to the Adult LDS Family Home Evening group this week. Ben and Luana Riddle spent the past week in Phoenix, Ariz, visiting visit-ing their daughter, Shauna Smith. Beatrice Barton is visiting daughter, Loretta Purdy, in Carbon County. The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Pi-oneers met on Monday. Marian Mecham gave the lesson and LaRene Munson gave the history. Danny and Vickie Shakespear visited the E.R. Shakespears and took them to Boulder to visit relatives. rela-tives. The Clive Bybees had all of their children and grandchildren home for Easter vacation. JoNeal Alvey and her young son received minor injuries when a car driven by tourists ran into them near the intersection of Hwy 12 and Hwy 63. The senior citizen van will go to Cedar City on Friday, April 23, 1993. Anyone wishing to go along can call Ella Adair by 2 p.m. on Thursday. |
