Show By Ella Adair 679-8648 Merle Richards spent a week in Payson visiting her son and daughters. daugh-ters. Orlan and Ferriland Ruesch spent a few days this past week visiting vis-iting their daughter, Peggy at Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park. We were saddened to hear that Jim Thomas suffered another stroke on Monday last and was taken to Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch. Pan-guitch. He was treated through Friday Fri-day morning, when he was taken by ambulance to the rehabilitation unit at the St. George Care Center. Katie surely appreciated the EMT's, friends and neighbors who helped to gel Jim loaded and transported to the hospital and will miss the smiling smil-ing faces of the home health nurses on a daily basis. Margaret and Margie Mccham visited with daughter Nancy Hubner in West Valley City. Keela Mangum took daughter Lacee and other cheerleaders to the cheerleader camp at the University of Utah. The Tropic boy scouts enjoyed their camp this past week at Maple Dell Camp in Payson. LaFaun and RaVae Pollock were in Richfield on business Monday. LaRene Munson attended her grandson's wedding at the St. George LDS Temple and had a nice visit with her daughter Ella Colvin from California. They joined other family members at the wedding reception re-ception in Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Ott attended the Heywood family reunion in Salt Lake City over the 4th of July weekend. Ella Adair made a trip to St. George to have her eyes checked. Family reunion time is here. The William D. LeFevre family held their reunion June 27. The Littlcficld family held their reunion on July 3rd and the John H. Johnson John-son family will hold their reunion July 17, all at the Tropic Park. Margaret Shakespear took Cora Shakespear and Ethel Griffin to Richfield for Cora to have her eyes checked. Rhea Jensen and daughters LaVon and Sharon and Cal Andrus visited with Ella Adair and Violet Littlefield. LDS Patriarch Michael Clarke was the speaker at their Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Several Tropic citizens were in Cedar City on business during the week for dentist appointments, eye care and shopping. The winds this past week played havoc with many plants, shrubs and trees. Old timers claimed it was the worst ever to hit Tropic. Mr. 'and Mrs. Gail Miles and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Adair spent the weekend with their mother Ella Adair and attended the Bryce Canyon former employees reunion at the park. |
