Show hW ftOilWi' HEM By Marta Peterson 834-5306 This beautiful spring-like weather is rapidly melting the snow at Bryce Canyon. The trails are still muddy and in places snow packed but the roads are all dry and clear. The walkers of the housing area are enjoying the crisp sunny days. It is great to see so many cheerfully getting their daily requirements of exercise and sun. The Bryce Canyon Community Club sponsored a bake sale all last week. It was very successful with the money raised being programmed for the April progressive dinner and the May seasonal welcoming party. Nellie Pratt traveled to Cedar City to take her Emergency Medical Technician written test. After she takes the practical, Nellie will be ready to work as a volunteer on the community ambulance. Members of the EMT class will have completed their required classroom work and tests and will be ready to use their newly acquired skills in each community they live in. They often make the difference between life and death in our small outlying towns. |
