Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Attending Forest Service meetings meet-ings in Loa were Phil and Billie Allen, Hal and Athalia Jensen, Tom Wiley, Larry Gleave and Kenneth King. Our sympathy goes to Billie and Phil Allen on the death of Billie's sister Adrene Gleave Dean. Her funeral fu-neral was in Salt Lake City on Monday. A water meeting was held in Antimony on Wednesday with Ray Owens of the Otter Creek Reservoir Board and the Antimony Irrigation Board concerning the East Fork of the Sevier River. Members of Antimony LDS Relief Re-lief Society held their annual dinner on Wednesday for everyone over 18. A delicious dinner was served and musical numbers were performed by Connie King and Leland Robinson and a reading by Valeen Roberts. Creston and Michele Black are proud parents of a baby boy. They brought him home at 10 days old. They surprised the congregation at church on Sunday when they brought him by to meet everyone. Eugene King is in the Gunnison Valley Hospital with a possible heart attack and is reported to be doing do-ing better. Several Antimony youth traveled trav-eled to the St. George LDS temple to take part in baptisms for the dead on Saturday. They stopped in Cedar City on the way back to attend at-tend the basketball games. Ilene Roberts and Luella Adams were in Richfield one day this week to help their sister, Ellen Helquist, celebrate her birthday. Attending the open house of the BLM in Tropic on Thursday evening were the Hal Jensens and the Van Wileys. |
