Show l &mss mnmmm i Frank Proctor PANGUITCH Frank Proctor, Proc-tor, 85, died on Monday, April 13, 1992 at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch. He was bom July 12, 1906 in Panguitch to James Virgal and Amanda Fredonia Cooper Proctor. He married Zina Fern Johnson Nov. 16, 1933 in th3 St. George LDS temple. A life-time resident of Panguitch Pangui-tch and member of the LDS church, he owned and operated his own farm as well as working for the U.S. Forest Service. He was president presi-dent of the Long Canal Irrigation Company Board for 24 years. He and son Sheldon made their last trip to the farm together to check on the livestock just before he was admitted to the hospital five days ago. He could tell a good story and many loved to listen. He faithfully cared for his home-bound wife for 10 years until she died on April 4, 1992, just 10 daysbefore his death. Surviving family members include in-clude one son and his wife, Sheldon and Lucile Proctor, Panguitch; a daughter-in-law, LaRae Proctor, West Valley City; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are being held on Thursday, April 16, 1992 at 1:00 p.m. in Panguitch LDS Third - ' ' A r i Frank Proctor Ward chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Panguitch on Thursday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery under the direction of Neal S. Magleby & Sons, Richfield. Rich-field. The family has expressed that remembrances given for Zina Fern Proctor have been appreciated and are sufficient for both. Juanita "Nita" Reeder ESCALANTE Juanita W. "Nita" Temple Reeder, 64, died April 9, 1992 in Salt Lake City. She was born March 25, 1928 in Clayton, New Mex., to Edward Smith and Emestene Abney Temple Tem-ple and later, June 13, 1953, married mar-ried Grover E. Reeder in Pasadena, Calif. Nita taught school in California Califor-nia for many years but moved to Escalante in 1972 after she and her husband retired. She is survived by: her husband; son, Daniel H. Reeder, Las Vegas, Nev.; and one sister, Maggie Ann Rhodes, Tularosa, New Mex. Graveside services and interment inter-ment were Tuesday, April 14, 1992 at the Escalante Cemetery under the direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Zina Fern Proctor PANGUITCH Funeral services ser-vices for Zina Fern Johnson Proctor were held Tuesday, April 7, 1992 at the Panguitch 3rd LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop James H. Hatch presiding and Elder Delin Roundy officiating. The family prayer was offered by Blake Proctor with prelude and postlude music performed by Pam Yardley. Stacia Proctor provided the invocation, followed by a musical musi-cal selection by the Panguitch Tri-Ward Tri-Ward Choir under the direction of Karran Harris and accompanied by Pam Yardley. Tributes were given by Roshell Brinkerhoff and LaRae Proctor with a vocal solo sung by Jimmy Cooper, accompanied by Kathleen Cooper. Rockey Proctor spoke followed fol-lowed by remarks from Elder Delin Roundy. The Panguitch Tri-Ward Choir then offered another selection, selec-tion, followed by the benediction by Patrice Morris. Pallbearers were Sheldon Proctor, Proc-tor, Kim Proctor, Rockey Proctor, Blake Proctor, Paul Morris and Ryan Brinkerhoff. Sheldon Proctor dedicated the grave with interment at the Panguitch Pangui-tch Cemetery under the direction of Neal S. Magleby & Sons, Richfield. Olaf "Red" Shakespear HENRIEVILLE Olaf Marrell "Red" Shakespear, 54, died on Sunday evening, April 5, 1992 at his home in Henrieville. He was born Nov. 16, 1937 to Preston and Eda Mecham Shakespear Shake-spear in Tropic. He married Lyllian Shafer on Aug. 9, 1958 in Cannonville. Known by family and friends as just plain "Red," he was employed for a number of years as a heavy equipment operator at Bryce Canyon Can-yon National Park. Since April 1978 he had been employed with the Garfield County Road Department, Depart-ment, working out of the Tropic facility. fa-cility. He took an early retirement in February of this year. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 8, 1992 at the Henrieville LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Robert Willis officiating. The family prayer was offered by Preston Lamar Shakespear and prelude and postlude music was provided by Viola Rose. David Millett gave the invocation '' followed by a vocal solo by Kenny Goulding. Tributes were offered by Vickie Coons and Dennis Shakespear with a musical selection sung by the grandchildren. Jim Smith spoke and Bishop Robert Willis offered remarks. The Henrieville Ward Choir performed a vocal selection, with the benediction provided by President LaMonte Twitchell. Interment was at the Henrieville Cemetery, with Steve Coons dedicating the grave. |
