Show HEAT Program Gets Underway HEAT, the low-income energy assistance program, will begin taking tak-ing applications on Nov. 4 for seniors se-niors and those who are disabled. All others will be able to make application beginning Nov. 15. The program will close March 31. The program will make a one-time only payment on qualifying utility bills for those who meet the program's criteria. Program director Deon Alvey will in Panguitch at the Social Services Ser-vices office from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on scheduled dates. She will also be in Tropic at the Scout House on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until noon and at Henrieville's community center from 1 until 3 p.m. On Mondays from 10 a.m. until 3, Alvey will be in Escalante at the senior se-nior citizen center. |
