Show ; . ' " C :' i ' -J V- " . Joe Black Candidate For Panguitch City Council Joseph Gayle Black I have enjoyed working the past few months with the present Panguitch Pan-guitch city council. Having done so, I have a much better understanding understand-ing of the challenges facing Panguitch Pan-guitch and Garfield County as a whole in the next few years. I believe our greatest challenge will be associated with the environmental envi-ronmental concerns that effect our economic stability. Secondary, will be issues related to water, sanitary sani-tary landfills and sewage. As a civil engineer by profession, I be lieve I can be of service to the community in facing these issues. The city council is presently investigating in-vestigating possible sources of funding for a new library, an EMTfirehouse facility, and a youth recreation center. The Panguitch Pavilion of Natural History, an extended ex-tended care facility for the elderly, improved telephone service, and natural gas service to the Panguitch area are also being studied. My goal, if elected, is to encourage en-courage responsible economic development de-velopment within Panguitch, while maintaining or improving the quality qual-ity of life we have become accustomed accus-tomed to. We must all do our part and the process starts at the election booth. Please, take the the time to vote for the candidate of your choice. |
