Show Area Residents On SUSC Honor Rolls Eight area residents were among 266 students at Southern Utah State College in Cedar City who were named to the honor roll for the winter quarter. To be named to the SUSC honor roll, a student must be enrolled en-rolled full time, taking 15 or more credit hours, and earn a quarterly grade point average of 3.60 or above. "SUSC grades on a plus and minus system," said Director of Admissions and Records D. Mark Barton. "A 4.00 GPA is a straight 'A' average, while a 3.60 GPA is approximately an 'A-' average." Honor roll students who live in Garfield County are Melanie Griffin (home economics), Escalante; Jolyn Barnhurst (business administration) and LaFaun Barnhurst (business education), ed-ucation), both Hatch; Kathryn Herder (English), Ryan Houston (agriculture), Carson Marshall (general education), and Roshell Proctor (home economics), all Panguitch; and Richard Ott (pre-medicinc), (pre-medicinc), Tropic. |
