Show Library Fund Raiser Is Very Successful PANGUITCH Significant progress was made toward the goal of matching funds for an anu'cipalcd grant for the new Panguitch City Library as $3,500 from a rummage and craft sale and $2,700 from concession con-cession sales at the recent invitational invita-tional rodeos held over Pioneer Days were added to the growing fund. Ruth Johnson of Panguitch Lake was the lucky winner of the , drawing for a Las Vegas vacation. Organizers of the event termed it a "huge success" Originally scheduled sched-uled only for the course Pioneer Days celebration, the sale continued on for a week by appointment until everything was gone, adding more to the coffers. Volunteers manned the operation, opera-tion, opened on the first day with a ribbon cutting by Panguitch Mayor Maloy Dodds. Some volunteers came for an hour or two at a time, others for an entire day. One person, a generous donor, who forgot one of his boxes of purchases, should call Marjoric Davis at 676-8329 or Barbara Talbot Tal-bot at 676-8257.
