Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 The Piute ambulance was called to the Scott Gleave home on Tuesday. Tues-day. Scott and Beth were both having hav-ing heart problems so the ambulance ambu-lance took both to Garfield Memorial Memo-rial Hospital. They are home and doing fairly well. Tim and Holly Westwood had their baby boy blessed Sunday in LDS services, naming him Tyson Tim Westwood. Visitors and family fam-ily here for the occasion were the two great grandmothers, Jane Westwood and Esther Heaton, the grandparents and their children, the Roger Westwoods and Joy Heaton, Tim's sister and husband Jerri and Kennedy Sylvester and children, Nanette Savage Simkins and daughter, daugh-ter, Jessica and the Jerry Croppers. Trent and Shelly Gleave of Cedar City were here on the weekend week-end visiting her mother, Connie King and his mother, Verlene Gleave. They attended the basketball basket-ball game on Saturday night at Piute High School. The Lionel Smiths visited and enjoyed Sunday dinner with the Eugene Kings. Burns and Mona Black are in Salt Lake City where they are recruiting re-cruiting for the Rockin "R." Gary Hansen had eye surgery up north and will return at the end of the month to have the other eye done. Sunday was Travis Blood's LDS missionary farewell before he goes to the training center and on to Capetown, Africa. Phil and Billie Allen spent the weekend in Orem with their daugh- ter and family where their grandson grand-son was blessed and named, Joshua Allen Peterson. Bart and Sunni Kay Brown spent the weekend visiting with her Dad, Kenneth King and attended church. Verlene Gleave accompanied the Alhstroms to St. George where she visited with her daughter Nedra. Our sympathy goes to the family fam-ily of Gordon Nicholes, who was a former resident of Antimony. He died following a long illness. His funeral was held Saturday in West Valley City. The seventh and eighth grade all-star basketball team won their first game against Milford on Thursday. Two of the Antimony boys were selected to be on the all-star all-star team, Riley Roberts and Jeremy Wiley. The Antimony Bantam Ball team played against Marysvale on Wednesday evening and won their game. They have won all their games so far and play against Cir-cleville Cir-cleville tonight. Afton and Carol Blood also attended at-tended the Farm Bureau meetings in St. George. Sorry I missed their names last week. Michelle Black has started working part time at Ruby's Inn. |
