After the meal, Sixth District Court Judge David Mower delivered a very interesting talk to the group. McKay Allen was baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS Church this past week. His aunt, Pam Jones was here for the occasion. occa-sion. Chantell Brindley and Jewel Kreitzer were presented their Laurel awards and Young Women's awards in LDS Sacrament meeting. Several of the young people will be leaving for college this month. Among them will be Jewel Kreitzer who is going to St. George; Chantell Brindley to Cedar City and Tyler and Tracy Kreitzer to Ricks College. Lee Robinson is in the Missionary Training Center in Provo preparatory to leaving for an LDS mission. Michelle Blood goes back to Brigham Young University. Cline Campbell stopped by to say hello to old friends last week. Koami and Wayne Delange had their granddaughter, Lee Ann Bui-. " : lock of Cedar City visiting for four days. The Jerry Savages and Teresa Robinson were in Las Vegas shopping shop-ping for school clothes. The Scott Jolley family was here to spend a few days with Scott's parents, the Ted Jolleys. Tim Westwood has been checking check-ing on his cattle out on the west side. Hal Jensen, Van Wiley, Kenneth King, Rickie Gleave & Larry Gleave were riding on the East Mountain when they met with officers from the Forest Service on Tuesday. They were riding over the grazing area. Don't forget the Antimony Town Reunion to be held here on Aug. 15. Come and see old friends and neighbors. Jack Rowan brought a group of scouts here for the outing. Little tents were up all over the lawn. They were here for six days. Antimony received a very welcome wel-come rain on Wednesday. Nate and Elaine Tebbs spent Saturday with her parents, the Garth Roberts. LaVar and Janice Roberts came to pick up his mother, Vaughnetta, on Sunday afternoon. |
