It's good to hear their songs and see the flashes of blue. Steele and Ireta Henrie had brother and sister-in-law Keith and Roma Henrie, Winslow, Ariz., the Don Henries from Myrtle Lem-mon Lem-mon and Mildred Christianson, Elsinore at their home to enjoy one of Ireta's good home-cooked meals. It's the first they have been together to-gether for several years. Tricia Hatch, daughter of the Randy Hatches, graduated from LDS Primary. Ashley Orton was baptized by her father Denny Orton. Ted, Shirley, Julie, Jill and Maria Chidester, Lola C. Henrie and Melanie Miller went to Hawaii for the wedding of Bart Chidester to Julie Chang. They did lots of sightseeing and visiting. The girls had an especially enjoyable time touring in their rented convertible. Upon their return home, Bret, Keika and Dennis Chidester from Piano, Tex. and newlyweds Bart and Julie Chidester from Laie, Hawaii visited with the Ted and Shirley Chidester family at home in Pan-guitch. Pan-guitch. The Frank and Alice Sevy reunion re-union was held for four days at the Snydermill Lodge at Park City. Seventy-eight descendants were present. Those from Panguitch included in-cluded Pauline and Merle Prince and Norma Talbot Monte and Cleo Marshall are overjoyed at the birth of a new grandson born to Barry and Marilyn Erickson in Richfield. Three thrilled sisters are anxious to get their hands on the baby until Grandma Cleo can get down there. Barry says he's going to spoil the . baby rotten. Don and Virginia Clark Hunt, Oregon, were at Keith and Rosemary Rose-mary Henrie's last week. Virginia's 50th class reunion was in progress and she received the award for traveling the longest distance. The Ken and Cindy Hatch family from Walla Walla, Wash, visited the Henries. Ken is the son of the Lloyd Hatches and Cindy is the daughter of the Hatches. A large number of Reid and Opal Miller's out-of-town family joined folks here in town to wish the 50-years-married couple many more years together. Ora Myers, Salt Lake City, visited vis-ited with Hilma Excell for a week. She brought word that her sister, Panguitchite Leona Excell Talbot is now living in Arizona with her daughter Reva T. Fish. Frank and Lola Henrie went to Salt Lake City to attend the wedding wed-ding of Suzette Simkins in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Keith and Rosemond Henrie's family held their reunion at the Gunnison City Park recently. Otis and Edie Doty were touring in the Midwest and intended to make it a long trip, but the heat got to them so they cancelled the rest of the trip for now and headed home to cool Panguitch. John and Doreen Wolfe have bought and moved into Sandy Hailstone's Hail-stone's trailer home in east Panguitch. Pangui-tch. Of course they are working hard to change things around. They wouldn't be able to sit still very long. Dorothy Miller Cameron had a stroke at her Panguitch Lake summer sum-mer home and is now in the hospital hospi-tal in St. George. She seems to be doing well. The Debbie Ellison family, Gainsville, Fla. (she is the daughter of old time resident Jim Miller, Aunt Alice Miller's son) stopped to see cousin Reid Miller to get acquainted ac-quainted and gather some genealogy. geneal-ogy. Wallace and Jan Houston, St. George, stopped on their way to see the Boulder area to visit with cousins Mamie Talbot and Emil Norton. Wallace is deep into genealogy ge-nealogy and has made several trips to Scotland for information. He is the son of Panguitchites Claude and Nell Miller Houston. |
