"The GEA believes it is in the best interest of the students, teachers, teach-ers, parents, and citizens of this school district that a new direction is taken in administration. Pollock explained that such decisions de-cisions are made in the organization's organiza-tion's executive council meetings, generally held the first Tuesday of every month. She said the meetings are entirely professional, and that gossip and hearsay are not tolerated. A teacher-representative to the GEA is elected by the GEA membership mem-bership at each school. She said a total of 53 of the GEA's approximately 60 members voted to support the statement issued. is-sued.
