Show Antimony Here By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Carol Gericke is assisting with the elementary school at lunch while Kaomi Delange is helping out daughter Penni Christensen with her new baby daughter. Jerry Von Kaenel is here on vacation, very busy at the store where he is preparing for the upcoming season by installing, among many other new things, a new ice cream machine. He is also busy moving furniture and horse tack here since their house in California sold. Leland and Marge Robinson were in Salt Lake City over the weekend where Leland was honored as "Coach of the Year" in girls basketball, Region 15. The award was presented at the All-Star games held March 17 at the Salt Lake Community College south campus where he received a plaque and certificate from the Utah Women's Basketball Coaches Association. Jenny Poll was selected for the second All-State girls basketball team. Antimony is proud of Jenny who was a top scorer on the our team. Visiting with Shannon and Julie Allen are Julie's parents Clare and Shirley Furse of Macon, Ga. Clare Furse is in Provo for an interview at Brigham Young University for a one-year teaching assignment. He will retire in one year in Georgia. Wayne and Tammy Shepherd and Barbara Glcave were in an auto accident in St. George where they were hit from behind at a stop sign. All three sustained minor injuries. Eugene and Valeria King were in Richfield for the missionary farewell for their grandson John Ogden. They enjoyed a family dinner following the meeting. Speaking in LDS Sacrament Meeting were the Savages, Jerry and Janene, Tracie and Jessica. |
