Show By Ronnie Brinkerhoff 679-8734 Eva Pollock called to report that she and Larvin have returned safely from their month-long trip. Just before they were to fly out to Chicago to visit daughter and son-in-law Juanita and Price Reynolds and family, they received word that , Juanita, who had been expecting, had delivered a baby girl, Rebekah, on Dec. 16. Larvin and Eva left on the 18th and spent two weeks with the family. Next visit was in Tulsa, Okla., where they spent a week with daughter and son-in-law Pauline and Brent Allen and their family. Then Larvin and Eva went to Denver, Colo., for a week-long stay with daughter and son-in-law Maureen and Ron Reed and their family. Back in Utah they visited with daughter and. son-in-law Marian Mar-ian and Blake Allen and their family in Orem. Traveling south, they visited son and daughter-in-law Bill and Stacey Pollock in Delta. Eva reports that all their family, including includ-ing those back in Tropic, are doing fine. Eva, who had suffered ill health before the trip, said each family member gave her special attention. at-tention. "Larvin helped out at every ev-ery family home we visited, washing wash-ing dishes and sweeping floors and just all-around helping out," she said. They returned home to Tropic on Jan. 22. Ferrell Brinkerhoff traveled to ' Provo doctors for tests at the first of last week, then traveled with his wife Gwen and others of the Rubys Inn gang to Phoenix, Ariz., on business for the general store. . Dixie Shakespear reported that she and husband E.R. had visitors this past week: son and daughter-in-law Ed and Camille Shakespear and their sons, and son Danny, who not only visited but installed a wall heater in the downstairs bathroom for his folks. Daughter and son-in-law Betty and Romell Hepworth also visited, bringing Dixie and E.R. a nice load of firewood. Obie and June Shakespear traveled trav-eled to Murray to grandson Jared Strebel's missionary farewell. Jared is going to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on his LDS mission. He is the son of Mavis Strebel. June is happy to report that she has a new granddaughter, grand-daughter, born to Dan and Gwen Perry of Salem, Utah on Jan. 30. Little Crystal has four brothers at home to greet her. Ronnie Brinkerhoff traveled to Aurora to visit with newlyweds Lavarro and Gerry Moon Riddle. Everyone in Aurora was in T-shirts and shorts, enjoying the summerlike summer-like weather. LaRene Munson was surprised when family members arrived to celebrate her birthday, Jan. 16. LaRene stated she had planned to forget this birthday but sons Scott and Mark, Mark's wfe Sharon and LaRene's daughters Elaine and JoAnn were there to wish her a happy 8 1st Bob Syrett, Roger Casebolt and Wid Pollock traveled to Elko, Nev. Jan. 24-29 to attend the annual gathering of Cowboy Poets and Western Singers. Big names at the event were Michael Martin Murphy, Ian Tyson, Baxter Black, Wadee Mitchell, Don Edwards and many more talented poets and singers. Glenna Pollock visited in Salt Lake City and Bountiful with her son Gam and daughters Darlene and Jolene. She attended a session a the newly-opened Bountiful LDS Temple, a Daughters of Utah Pioneers meeting and a German festival in Ogden where grandson Michael LeFevre participated with the Ogden Institute of Folk Dancers. Adrian and Glenna's son Garn Pollock and sin-in-law Grant LeFevre each recently received Scouting's District Award of Merit Members of the community were saddened at the death of Etna Casebolt and extend condolences to j the family.
