Show Makes I Cents VI JUDGE BLAKE I Dear Vi: After the Teton flood, our good bath tub was badly stained because of the chemicals deposited in it by the flood waters. A man from Pocatello sprayed it with eight ' - coats of a glaze, which I believe he called PermaGlaze. It was expensive expen-sive but cheaper than tearing out the tub and replacing it. Fawn Willmore, Rexburg, Ida. So, to Richard Denning, if you : weren't able to get the stains out of $m your antique tub, this may be the way to go. ins t-o, .Dear Vi: I empty my table utensils from the dishwasher onto a clean dish towel and pick them up by the v handle with another towel, held ' with both hands. This is more k sanitary than touching them with 5 your hands, and at the same time, you can rinse and dry any items that are spotted. J Virginia Gubler, Hurricane, Ut I've been loading silverware in such a way that only the handles need to be touched when you take them out, but this sounds like a better method. Thanks for sharing, Virginia. Dear Vi: Newlyweds who don't have pictures pic-tures to hang on the walls, might consider doing what we did. While walking in parks or visiting lovely garden areas, we would focus our camera on a small cluster of blossoms blos-soms and get close enough to fill the entire viewing lens' with blooms, clouds, a bird, a squirrel, or whatever took our fancy. Enlarged En-larged and framed, these provided lovely displays of our own, exclusive exclu-sive photo art. Ken and Virginia Dear Vi: Don't put your name and address on your house and car keys because if lost, the person who finds them will have access to your property. Instead, arrange with friends to put your address on their keys and their address on yours. A thoughtful, honest person who finds them might mail them back, but they would be useless to a thief. Ora McPheters, Fallbrook, Calif. Dear Vi: An egg beat into hot mashed potatoes makes them light and fluffy. Try it. And did you know that egg white is good for removing remov-ing chewing gum from fabric. Rub it in with a brush I use an old toothbrush then launder as usual. Works on hair, too. Ellen Devereaux, Las Vegas, Nev. Thought for the day: You can open a door by breaking it down, or you can find the key and open it intact. Works on people, too. Readers: This is your feature.
