Show By Jeanne Harshman 335-7348 Everyone is preparing for a great celebration for the 4th of July to take place Saturday, July 2. Robert and Donna Owen have been instrumental in bringing down the popular group, "The Blue Grass Conspiracy", Utah's premier blue grass band. They will appear at Anasazi State Park from noon until dusk where donations will be accepted. Many other exciting events are planned There are lots of visitors and activities ac-tivities right now here in Boulder especially with real mass movements move-ments of grasshoppers in flocks throughout our valley. I think we'll initiate a grasshopper stomp for the dance on July 2; the children should really be good at it, Veda Moosman Bchunin reports that the Mossman reunion on Boulder Mountain with some 60 people was a great gathering. Veda's garden and Idona Haws' garden are both looking wonderful as usual and their area of town is one of the few places with no grasshoppers! Faye Jepsen also reports a great family reunion. Norma Jepsen Ellis of San Leandro, Calif, and Ruth Jepsen Forbush from Monroe visited in Boulder with their brothers Neal, Reid and Alfred and families. It was their first time j together as a family in over 20 years. The 20-member Boulder LDS ward choir will perform the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's interpretation inter-pretation of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" on Sunday. Directing will be Jeanne Harshman with accompaniment by Gladys LeFevre and Bertha Fullmer. |
