Show NATIONAL FOItEST TIMBER FOR SALE NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALE, DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST, SKUNK CREEK TIMBER SALE, located within T37S; R4 and 4V4W, SLB&M. Sealed bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Federal Building, P.O. Box 580, Cedar City, Utah, 84720, at 2:00 P.M. local time at the place of bid opening September 11, 1984, to be followed immediately by oral bidding for an estimated 875 M board feet of timber designated for cutting. The minimum acceptable bid per M board feet is $18.34 for live ponderosa and limber pine, $14.33 for live Douglas-fir, Engelmann spruce and white fir. Dead volume of all species is $1.00 MBF. Additional deposits required for slash disposal are $10.06 per M board feet and for surface rock replacement on the East Fork Road, $1.25 per M board feet. This is a scaled sale. Contract form 2400-6 will be used. The bid rates will be subject to adjustment during the period of the sale as provided for by the quarterly adjustment provsisions of the timber sale contract. Required bid guarantee is $800. Purchaser Credit Limit is stated in the sample contract and is $13,018. There are no purchaser credits available at advertised rates. Timber included in this contract is subject to the log export and substitution restrictions of 36 CFR 223.10. Bidders are required by 36 CFR 223.5 to complete a Certification of Nonsubstitution of Timber Purchased (Part I of Form FS-2400-43) and submit the information for the tributary area in part II of the form. Failure to do so, and or certify as to where and when part II was previously submitted to the Forest Service, will result in the bid being rejected as nonresponsive. Bidders are advised that violations of the domestic processing requirement constitute breach of contract and may result in contract cancellation, or in refusal to award timber sales to the violator, or debarment or suspension from Wdding on future timber sales. If total bid value, plus required deposits, exceeds one million dollars ($1,000,000) an EEO compliance review shall be made to determine if the provisions of Executive Order 11246, as amended by Executive Order 11375, have been complied with before award can be made. The high bidder whose bid is accepted must, within 30 days from receipt of written notification, furnish a cash deposit or provide effective purchaser credit in the amount of 10 percent of total bid value round up to the next $100. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. Full information concerning the timber, the conditions of the sale, and the submission of bids should be obtained from the District Ranger, Panguitch, Utah or the Forest Supervisor, Cedar City, Utah.
