Show Houston Named To BOR Region Post David Houston A Panguitch native has been selected as regional director for the Mid-Pacific Region of Bureau of Reclamation. David Houston, who has served as deputy assistant secretary for land and water resources in the Department of Interior, assumed his duties Monday in Sacramento, Calif. Houston is a son of Mr, and Mrs. Dee Houston, Panguitch, and graduated from Panguitch High School. He graduated from Utah State University where he earned both bachelors and masters degrees in political science. He has been residing in Washington, D. C. His wife is the former Carol Sudoko, Murray and they have one daughter. The region over which Houston has been appointed, has management responsibilities for California's Central Valley Project and several other projects in Nevada and Oregon. |
