Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair Maggie Willis is with son Russel and wife in Salt Lake City and getting acquainted with her new granddaughter. Eva Pollock visited daughters Maureen, Juanita and Marian in Provo. The Give Bybees had son, Aarort' Bybee and daughter KaeLynn and husband home. Melvin Quilter visited here. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Adair, Logan, visited the Arnold Adairs. Ward Mangum and Laura Cottam were visitors at the LuElla Mangum home. Mrs. Mangum returned to St. George to visit their families Champ and Ruby Moore, Iris; Bushnell and Kella Mangum visited Paul Mangum in Zion Park. Visiting Ruth Baugh were sisters Beth and Rhoda and daughter Kelly and Birch Moore. The Doug Talbot family went to Disneyland with her family. Ben Baugh spent a day with his parents, the Sherman Baughs. Amy Mangum was baptized into the LDS Church. A special Easter program was presented Sunday morning in the chapel. The program in sacrament meeting was presented by members of the Give Bybee family A special meeting in the church will be held Saturday evening at 6 p.m. for priesthood members to hear the broadcast from Temple Square. Joe Ott, a former Tropic resident, is the new manager at the Pink Cliffs Motel and Restaurant. Joann Reed visited with friends in Tropic. Fast day will be held in two weeks, as next Sunday will be General LDS conference in Salt Lake City. There will be no meetings in the church. Tropic's birthday will be celebrated May 29. A special program is being prepared to be presented at 11:45 a.m. in the church. All former Tropic residents are invited to attend. The Relief Society held its annual birthday dinner and program Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Sherrell Ott have a new baby girl. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Ott and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Cottam. |
