Show USU Masters Class Slated in Garfield One-hundred county leaders have been invited to assist in identifying local needs and opportunities for future Utah State University Extension programs. A meeting, sponsored by the Garfield County Commissioners and USU Extension, has been set for Feburary 24, at Bryce Valley High School from 7 to 9:30 p.m. U.S.U. & YOU - PROJECT '82 is designed to enable county leadership to identify and prioritize local problems and opportunities. The results of this project will give direction to extensfon programs now and in the future. During this meeting participants will consider some of the successful extension programs and identify problem areas where extension should be spending more time. Citizens interested in participating in this study should contact the extension office in Panguitch by calling for either Verl Matthews or Debbie Proctor at 676-2201. Problems and opportunities will be examined in five program areas: Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family Life, 4-H, Community Development and Life Span Learning. |
