Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ott are grandparents of their first grandchild, a son, born to Mr. and Mrs. True Ott, Cedar City, Nov. 30. Irene and Verlyn Munson made a trip to St. George and visited son, Don and wife. Clive Bybees had all of their children home for Thanksgiving. , Todd and Joy Stubbs made a quick trip to Provo on business. The Lady Lions entertained the members of the Bryce Lions club with their traditional Christmas dinner and program. Hostesses were Betty , ,Lou . Wintch, Dorothy Leavitt, Mira Loy Ott and Ella Adair, Marian Shakespear and La Rene Munson had special parts on the program, after which Santa came with gifts. Malen Mea'cham made a trip to Provo for a medical chekcup. The Norman Lit-tlefields' daughter, Judean, is moving to Tropic from Wyoming. Norm made a trip to help with the moving. Ora Brinkerhoff had all of her family home for their annual Christmas party. Present were Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Shakespear, Springdale; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Shakespear, Darrel Shakespear, Grand Canyon; Mr. and Mrs. Link Chynoweth, Rose and husband, Cedar City; Loretta and husband, Las Vegas, 'Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Ferrcll Brinkerhoff, Mr. and Mrs. Danny , Brinkerhoff, Mr. and ; Mrs. Raymond Brinkerhoff and Eldon Brinkerhoff. Marian Shakespear, LaRene Munson and Rachel Ahlstrom are in St. George. Mike and Karleen Muri are vacationing in Florida and visiting Ken and Lea Hoyte while there. Carl and Jean Syrett are visiting son, Doug, St. George. The Adrain Pollocks had 31 of their family members home for Thanksigiving. Louie Shakespear is home before moving to Orderville. The Tropic Ward will , ; hold fts annual Christmas party Dec. 29. Glenna and Adrian Pollock participated in the special deer hunt in Mayfield. Brant and Shanna Barton's baby girl was named Sunday. Her father named her Lori Ann. Melody Richards is the new Home Beautification Leader and Valerie Else the new nursery coordinator for the Relief Society. Bill Pollock replaced .Ferrell Brinkerhoff as the Gospel Doctrine leader in the Sunday School. The Arnold Adairs made a business trip to Cedar City and visited son, Larry, while there. The Garfield County Senior Citizens dinner and dance will h ne. il at 6 p.m. in the Tropic Ward Cultural Hall. Reservations must be made before noon Friday with Ella Adair for the dinner. |
