Show Wayne Man is Honored Posthumously by DWR LOA Raising trout for Utah lakes and streams marked the frece'WUyrec&lvedrthe Outstanding Employee' the Year Award from Governor Scott M. Matheson. The Utah State Employees Association's highest award was posthumously bestowed upon Mr. Taylor, an employee of the Utah Division of Wildlife until his untimely death on June 23 of this year. The award was accepted on behalf of his family by his wife, Madge, during the Association's annual convention. He was given the award in recognition of his 38 years of dedicated service as a career state employee. His career began at the Loa Fish w ,HtclxeJn4 Hp .served as'supewiitendant of the Beaver and Loa hatcheries. During his 38 years of employment, Mr. Taylor demonstrated a great deal of interest in developing new methods and techniques for raising fish. In making the presentation, Governor Matheson said Mr. Taylor was an" outstanding example of a dedicated career state employee. |
