Show ' Homecoming Events Set at Paiiguiteli Panguitch High School homecoming festivities began on Monday with Wild, Wild West Day. The students dressed up in boots, spurs, chaps, hats, etc. Tuesday was inside out and hat day. The annual girls Powder Puff basketball game was held after lunch. The Seniors edged a 20-18 victory over the Juniors. Wednesdays events consisted of a dance during school in the gym. This day everyone dressed really "funky" because it was Punk Rock Day. The traditional bon fire and snake was held after the Homecoming , Queen contest. The participants were Lana Houston, Crystal ' Christensen, Tami Evans, Laretta Lowder , and Jeanette Mathews. Thursday is Kiss A Girl, Hug a Boy Day. There will be a snowball ' fight at 11:25 a.m. on the football field. The wrestling team will . travel to Milford. The , girls'abaisketball game is in Beaver. Friday will be Pajama, Robe and Slipper Day. Shelley llurger. newly selected Panguitch High School Itobcat Mascot lakes lime to get the feel of The Homecoming basketball game is against Bryce Valley at 8:00 p.m. in the PHS gym. The JV game will start at 6:15 p.m. The wrestling team will participate in an eight team tournament at Parowan. The basketball team will be against Parowan here. The games will start at the usual times. A homecoming dance will be held in the Social Hall following the basketball game. A funeral will be held for the Bryce Valley Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. in the gym on Friday. The viewing is form 10:00 a.m. until 12:15 noon in teh PHS library. Survivors: Bobcat boys basketball team, girls basketball team and wrestling team. Close family, PHS cheerleaders, Bobbetts and Pep Club (Panguitch Peppers). Officers for. the Pep Club are Jeanette Mat thews, president; Chet Hailstone, secretary' and Kent Orton, chairman of fund raising. The name they have her costume and works hard to perfect every move in the often clumsy attire. chosen is the Panguitch Peppers. Advisors are Linda Sherwood and Leah Henrie. |
