In the Masters Golf Tournament, Craig Stadler won with a lackluster four under par in sudden death with Dan Pyhl. The green-jacket affair was tormented with bad weather and slick greens, making it almost impossible to score. Atlanta, which can be seen locally on Channel 3, started the season with a hot 4-0 record, the best in the major leagues. |
