Show Hearing Scheduled In Firearms Case BULLFROG BASIN Preliminary hearing for Lowell Preston Austin, Palisdae, Colo, has been set for September 10, 1980 at 1 p.m. in Panguitch on a charge of second degree felony theft. Ranger Jay Wells at Bullfrog Basin reported the theft of a firearm from a boat moored at the Claine Creek Wash area in Garfield County. A complaint was signed against Austin after investigation of the report by Garfield County Sheriff Don Mosier and deputy John Niemann. Bail for Austin was set at $5,000 but the suspect was released on his own recognizance. The maximum fine for a second degree felony carries $10,000 and or one to 15 years in prison. |
