Show Area Residents Invited to Band Concert They combine new sounds with old. They are loud. They are soft. They are fast, and they are slow. They make music with voices and instruments. They are two separate groups, yet they are one. No, it isn't a riddle. It's the United States Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus, and they will be performing in Richfield April 23 at 8 p.m. at the Richfield High School gymnasium. The band and chorus have a unique sound whether they are performing together or separately. Tickets, must be obtained, and can be picked up free of charge at several locations in southern Utah. Tickets are available at The Reaper office, as well as Gary's Shoes, B-Bar-L, Sevier School and Office Supply, J.C. Penney Co., Christensen's, Sears and Hall Drug, all in Richfield; Wayne County Clerk's Office, Loa; Sunglow Cafe in Bicknell; Piute County Recorders Office in Junction; Garfield County News office in Panguitch; Salina Sun and Christensen's in Salina; First Security Bank, Durfees and Thelma Compton in Monroe. The group's music appeals to all ages and spans the music spectrum from classics to pop. |
