Show Panguitch Patter Almyrta Morris 676-2209 Beth Hatch and JackEtta Goodin visited their sister, Martha Orton, in the Parowan rest home. Then accompanied by their other sister and brother-in-law, Carlena and Walter Mortenson, drove to St. George LDS Temple, where JackEtta's daughter Barbara met them. All went through the temple, this being special for JackEtta as it was her first visit through. Later in August both Beth and JackEtta traveled to the Manti LDS Temple and were able to attend two sessions there. Visiting the Stan Pollock's were son Dandy and Crlsty Redden from Manila. Dandy Is stationed at Manila with the Forest Service. Also down for the visit were Mr. and Mrs. Reed Christensen from Richfield. The Elliot and Velma Barney family held its family reunion on Saturday with some 68 family members In attendance. Their children also helped celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary, The' children and grandchildren present paid a tribute to them by relating some special experience they had enjoyed with them. The great grandchildren enjoyed a treasure hunt and playing games. A barbeque dinner was served. A time was also set aside for discussion of family genealogy. Visiting Panguitch this past week were Wayne and Connie Krall from Cerra Garda, 111. They are the parents of Mrs. Randy Bowman. Also celebrating the Krall's visit were Bud and Roma Bowman who held a cookout for the Kralls. Attending were the Bowmans, the Kralls, Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Morris, and Fonny Christensen . from Salt Lake City, visiting her sister Almyrta Morris. For those inquiring this week about the condition of friend and neighbor, Howard Prince, we have learned he is in the Salt Lake LDS Hospital. His condition has improved, but he is still listed in critical condition. Two little Garfield County residents came info the world this holiday weekend giving a special emphasis to the term "Labor Day" for their respective Moms. Making her appearance early in the holiday festivities was Jennifer Bulkley, newest daughter of Marilyn and Russell Bulkely. Jennifer weighed 6 lbs. 2V4 ozs. and came Into the world at 9:05 p.m. last Saturday. She is now waiting too see sisters Christy, 6, Sherrie 4 and Suzanne, 3. Promising barbershop quarteter John Seaman and wife, Mary now have a sparkling trio of their own with the birth early Tuesday of son, Jeffery. Looking much like his older brother, young Jeffery weighed an even 7 lbs. and coming into the world bright and early at 6:05 a.m. |
