Show -. - ...... ..-.. pjj,. , . Cannonville Gwen B.Evans $7-8S34 The Johnson's (Gary and Sandy) had Sandy's brother and father at church Sunday. They are from Montana. Other church and weekend visitors were Merlin, wife Helen, Kenneth, wife Roma Clark. They, with their brother, Sheldon were visiting their mother Ethel Clark, who returned from Garfield Memorial Hospital. Her oldest son, Kay and wife Laura of Henrieville, spent Sunday at her home. Her 93rd birthday comes Sept. 11. Her family had a birthday dinner while they were all together. Rex and Leslie Fletcher with two small daughters, were visitors at Bishop Clele and Marva'Fletcher's. He is joining the Thompson Construction Company and will move a mobile home on brother, John's lot in about a month. We welcome them to our ward and town. Fern Henderson's daughter, Lorna took her home in Logandale for a visit. Betty Nelson met her missionary daughter, Shanna Goulding in Panguitch to accompany her on the long drive to her Texas mission. She plans to fly back to Salt Lake City and visit there with relatives for two weeks. Son, Jack and family were visitors at the Bill and Bonnie Nelson's. Jack recently received his masters degree. We are proud of him! We are sorry to say that Norm LeFevre Is out of commission the past three weeks because of an old back injury. He returned home from a week at the hospital to await surgery arrangements. All of this is a repeat performance from last year. Statement from a senior citizenl "I may be living in the past, but I'm paying today's prices." Alma and Anita Fletcher have completely rejuvenated their home and are selling it to the Elwood Eddy's of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Red Rock Ranch. We are highly, anticipating their return to our community. |
