Show Henrieville Melba D. Smith 679-8572 Henrieville isn't very lively during the winter so it takes two or three weeks to make enough news to report Herschel and Mada Partner are back home after spending part of the winter at St. George doing temple work It is good to have them back with us. Carla Willis spent the weekend home with her parents Bob and Helen Willis. Wayne Goulding spend the weekend home with his mother Shanna Goulding. Larry Rose and friend visited Irving and Viola Rose and Peggy for the weekend. Bart Smith and girlfriend visited Lee and fhelma Smith and family. Boyd and Maggie Henderson were recent visitors with Ora and Rhoda Shafer Roxie Chynoweth spent a week at St. George doing temple work and visiting granddaughter Kristine. Kay and Maggie Willis had two new grandchildren born recently. Their daughter Linda and Dale Larson have a new baby boy. Their son Merrill and Karen Willis have a new little girl. Layton and Melba Smith went to Cedar City for dental and eye appointments. They visited Rett and Christine Shakespear and family and Ed and JoAnn Smith. Wayne Reynolds came home to visit his family on his days off from his work near Cove Fort. He is working on an oil rig there. Suzanne Willis spent several days here from orcin with her parents Oscar and Jean Willis. Suzanne has accepted a job with the LDS Church Genealogy Library at the church office building at Salt Lake City. Oscar and Jean Willis went to Circleville on Saturday for a Haycock funeral. Mary Lou Neilson was a recent patient at the Garfield Memorial Hospital and his now recuperating at home. Frank Moore is home from the hospital where he recently underwent major surgery. Visiting at the Frank Moore home was Wade Wadec aster. Speakers in sacrament meeting on Feb. 5 were Lonna and Brenda Rose, Harry Partner, Bishop Ralph Chynoweth and Mada Partner Ken Piatt sang a medley of songs The program in sacrament meeting on February 12 was the Lee Smith family. Talks were given by Thelma, Lee, Bud, Ben and Bart Smith Boyd and Leah Smith sang a song. Dewey, Teora and Patsy Willis went to Salt Lake City on the weekend for Teora's mother Hettie Newby's 80th birthday Henrieville has had some lovely rain and snowstorms bringing much needed moisture to the valley. Bill MaKay visited Sunday with Layton Smith. He was a patient at the Veterans Hospital when Layton was there. He had another fellow and a boy with him. They were here hunting property to buy as Mr. McKay says he would like to get out of the city. The sewing plant is back in full swing. The ladies are sewing blouses. |
