Show GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 1977-1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING GARFIELD COUNTY ORDINANCE No. 40, RELATING TO THE LICENSING, REGULATION AND CONTROL OF LIGHT BEER: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF GARFIELD COUNTY, UTAH, AS FOLLOWS: Section l. Section 11 of Garfield County Ordinance No. 40 is repealed in its entirety. Section 2. The following paragraph shall be reenacted as Section 11 of Garfield County Ordinance No. 40: "Section 11. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, dispense, furnish, or give away beer to any. person under the age of 21 years, or to any person under the influence of intoxicating liquor. No person shall sell, dspense, furnish, or give away beer in the proximity of any church or school. It shall be unlawful to sell, dispense, furnish, or give away beer or to allow the same to be consumed on the premises, at any place within Garfield County, Utah, outside of the corporate limits of incorporated cities and towns, between the hours of 12 o'clock midnight and 8 o'clock a.m. the following day; or on an election day or any day on which an election is held or conducted, it shall be unlawful to sell, dispense, furnish, or give away beer between the hours of 7 o'clock a.m. 8 o'clock p.m. of said day." Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the date of passage and after having been published for one (1) Issue in the Garfield County News, a newspaper having general circulation in Garfield County, Utah.
