Many fans watched the games. Gene Griffin and Lorell Munson went to Salt Lake City for freight. Zella Alvey and son Tom went North for the wedding of a relative. So did Twila and Guy Lemlng. The Bill Griffins have a new granddaughter born to Evan and Nickl Excell of Price, this is their third girl. Majorie K. Griffin held a baby clinic at her office last week ; Dr. Traitor of St George was here. The Don Colemans and Cal Porter went to Cedar City for dental appointments, Dave and Debbie Eyman also had business there. The Stan Listens and the Arthur Lymans had business in Richfield. The Rol Porters had son Bob and his son here from Mesa, Ariz. The Calvin Shurtz home had son Dean and daughter, they traveled together. Hal and Geneal Shurtz had Kim and Vicki Nelson and three kids from Washington for the weekends Beryl and Retha Shurtz had daughter, Marilyn Jackson here while Tom went for some additional schooling for his Law Job. ; Ott and Hilda Roundy spent several days at Monroe; they .are keeping close track of the ball team coached by son, Vernon Dean which has done very. well his season. Renee Osborii got word of the ' death 'of' her father, -Joseph Smith of Milford, he has been seriously m since December. She and Berlin left In a snowstorm but made it ok. Claron and Ruby Griffin brought their house en wheels and moved back home Dee and El da Haws had a visit from daughter Jean and kids from Fredonla. Twila MclneUy got word that son-in-law SherrUl Da vies of Klamath Falls, Oregon has been made bishop of their ward, he has only lived there a short time. She also heard from son Chan who with his family has returned from Germany where he has been stationed for over 2 years In the Air Force. He will be stationed In Virginia uv definately. The Reed Wooleys had daughter Marva home for a visit, then Ronnie came and they traveled together ta California. Walt Lelbenguth went to Salt Lake City for a checkup, he visited Kay Little and Buck Lund at the Veteran's Hospital. Buck was being sent to a nursing home so he Is much better. Kay had been up trying to walk with a brace but the attempt was not successful, knowing him he will keep trying. Dennis and Sara Cowles and .their son Johnatban, of Rock Springs, Wyo. were here visiting at the Chase Shurtz and Orville Cowles homes. Chase and Helen Shurtz heard from son David Ray in Mexico, his father-in-law who was in Guatemala has never been heard from since the earthquake. David Ray got out of there just before it happened, now his company is sending him back. The Ron Schows had son Marian home from his Job in Salina. Rhett Durfee is being trans-ferred so they gave him a. farewelTpar fy at the Pines. Blaine Win is came home to help Charley Orritt and Fred Wilson get this Kalparowits deal going, they attended the meeting In Panguitch. Thelma Smith came from Henri eville to help out at the Hod Alvey home. They had Geneal and Blair Frazier and boys here last week. Edson Alvey showed slides of the surrounding area to a group last Wednesday.
