Show Boulder Hews LeNora LeFevre 335-2140 Work has begun on the east end road of Boulder Mountain beginning at Oak Creek and extending four miles North of Spruce Springs. The construction company is the Western States Paving Company of Spanish Fork. Bishop and Mrs. Cliford Ridley accompanied by Lorraine Behunin made a trip to St. George. We have had rain storms the past week and the country is looking much better. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Fuller have a baby girl born July 9, at Richfield, Both the mother and infant are back home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lambert, Cedar City, spent a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Poulson were in Salt Lake City to see their doctor. They visited with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Sherril Alvey, Layton; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Morgan, Hunter; and Mr. and Mrs. Elvon Poulson, Granger and the grandchildren. Dr. Heber H. Hall, Salt Lake City spent four days at the Mac LeFevre home where he did some remodeling on their house. He also visited with Mr. and Mrs. LeFair Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Church and Debbie went to Mesa, Arizona. Their daughter, Norma Hastings, was involved in a car accident in which Sharlene her two month old baby girl was killed. Norma is in critical condition and her other children and a neighbor child were Injured. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Ormond and Mr. and Mrs. Ferral Moosman, Annabella were on vacation in Boulder and the surrounding country. The town of Boulder received a grant of $2500.00 to improve the recreation center in central Boulder. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Davis were in Provo at her parents home, Mr. and Mrs. Max Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Vard Coombs took their son to Richfield to the Cripple Children Clinic. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Moosman, Mrs. Donna Jean Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. LeFair Hall were there on business. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Stevens and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stevens and their families went to a Steven's reunion in the Salt Lake City area. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Bryan, Covlna, Calif, are visiting friends in Boulder. Mrs. Janet Austin is here at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Coleman and family went to Fremont, Nebraska to attend the Coleman reunion. |
