Show : Area Obituaries : Emily Pollock TROPIC - Emily Artlla Pollock, 85, Tropic, died Oct. In a Reno, Net., hospital after a short Illness. She was born Oct. 1, 1889, Cannon vllle, to John Henry and Mary Annie Henderson Davis. She was married to Samuel Pollock, Oct. 7, 1909, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Feb. 9, 196S. Survivors: sons, daughter, : Merman, Alton, Mrs. Jack (Mae) Wintch, all Tropic; Mrs. Jeff (Virginia) Gjevre, Reno; Mrs. Mike (Verdean) Skelly, Coleraine, Minn.; 32 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; brothers, sisters, Bryon, Sherman, Cannonville; Vernon, Pullman, Wash.; Mrs. Maud Wheatly, Mrs. Maggie Baldwin, both Ogden; Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Mrs. AUie Harker, both Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Monday In the Tropic Ward chapel with Evan Chynoweth, conducting. Kenneth Alvey offered the family prayer and Genevieve LeFevre played prelude music. Arden Pollock offered the dedicatory prayer. Speakers were Garry Don Pollock, Dennis Wintch and Evan Chynoweth. Music included a song by the grandchildren; selection by Cray and Brenda Pollock and song by the Relief Society Chorus. Lonnie Pollock offered the benediction. Burial was in the Tropic Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Lyle Pollock offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Kenneth Alvey, Stanley Pollock, Lonnie Pollock, Geff Pollock, Wayne Pollock and Vance Pollock. Honorary pallbearers were Devon Pollock, Arden Pollock, Gail Pollock, Garry Don Pollock, Lyle Pollock, Evan Chynoweth, Dennis Wintch, Cray Pollock, Raymond Skelly, Steven Pollock, Joe Kooken-master and Bart Palmer. |
