Orlas and Estella Rlggs attended a reception for their grandson and wife at the Jerry Rlggs home in St. George. The newly weds are Mr. and Mrs. Russell Rlggs. Visiting the Rlggs over the weekend were the Leslie Footes, Duard and David Rlggs of Salt Lake City, the Ralph Rlggs of Tooele, the Earl Rlggs of Clearfield and the Grover Montegues of Payson. Most of the young folks In our town attended the Youth Conference at Red Canyon on Sunday Morning. Among visitors in town were the Gib Clarks and Travis at the Bruce Daltons; the Rick Sawyers and Kenneth of Pangultch at the Arthur Sawyers Sunday: the Allen Huntingtons and children of Kanab and the Stanley Huntingtons of Cedar City at the Wiley Huntingtons. Speakers In Sacrament meet-in Sunday were Janice and Elaine Riggs, Julia and Edward Turek. Kurt Sawyer instead of Kent was sustained as Scout Master and Deacon Advisor. Mrs. Noreen Evans visited her mother Sessie Clark ln Orderville. Aftori Hancock and children went to Kanab the first of the week to get her father Squire Mangum who has been in the hospital there. Mar-cie Dutton and the Homer Duttons of St. George and the Jay Duttons of Kanab visited in town Saturday. They came for furniture for Marcle as she is renting her home here. |
