Show Henrieville News Items MELBA D. SMITH Visiting at the home of Virginia Smith the past week were Inez and Ivan Winberg of Sandy. They also spent time with her sisters, Janet. LeFevre, Connie Kleese and Ada Thompson of Cannonville and their families. A relative Carolyn Smith of Pomona, California, boy friend Bob Boldeac and Mrs. Joyce DeMonaco and two children dropped In to see them as they were traveling to Missouri. Ann Reece took her grandmother Virginia to see her doctor in Cedar City on Thursday. Holiday visitors at Janet Le-Fevre's were daughter Pauline and Len Anderson of Provo, their friends, Karl and Irene Stack of Richfield. Saturday Genice Evans attended the P. H. Evans reunion in Hatch. Daryl and Dee Shumway and family of Heber City visited over the weekend with her mother Minnie Smith and brother Tom and at Tropic with sister Alaska, and Floyd Richard and family. Wade, Mary and Paula Chynoweth vlsted in Ogden with re latives. Frank, Lula and Frankie Moore spent a week at Hillsdale working. Ton! Neilson, Vickie Shakespear, Mary Ann Barker and Julie Goulding camped three days with them there. Several people attended the Rodeos at Panguitch and Escalante for the 24th celebration. Gene and Mary Etta Chynoweth spent Saturday with Rox-ie Chynoweth. Rose Palmer of Page, and Violet Rae Hughes and two grandchildren of Cannonville visited Sunday and attended Sunday School. Speakers in Sacrament Meeting Sunday were LaVon Jol-ley, Teora and Dewey Willis. Spending the weekend with the Kenneth Gouldings and Dick were the Ernie and Wyn-ona family of Granger, David and Katryn Pollock and boys of Cedar City. Also visited with brothers Ken and Steven and families. The Harry Partner family and Louise Harrison and baby went to Orderville for the 24th celebration. Visiting with Nephl and Shanna Goulding were Jane and Michael, Rob and Sally Goulding and son of Cedar City, Herb and Dorie Baugh and children of Tropic. Michael will stay to visit the grandparents. Lola Gibson and Becky Hansen and baby visited overnight with the Lcland Griffins, and attended the open house for Helena Francisco Mortensen at Tropic. Several from here also attended the open house. Also visiting at the Griffin home were Clark and Roma Evans and three children of Salt Lake who attended an Evans reunion at Hatch. The Griffins received a phone call from son Royce telling he had received a promotion and would move from Klngsville to Midland, Texas. Ora and Rhoda Shafer spnt the weekend with daughter Donna and Duane Metcalf and family at Granger, and other relatives. The Metcalfs have just moved in to their new home. Visiting Jim and Rae Smith was her father Tillman Wool- sey of Huntington and Bicknell. The descendants of Tillman met at Pine Lake for a family reunion July 22 through 24. Those having birthdays this week are Mary Elizabeth, Eugene Qullter and Cloyd Niel- son. The wedding anniversary of Steven and Kathleen Goulding. The Primary was In charge of the 24th celebration here with a children's parade, races, program and food sale. |
